BSC Center Administrator

Pamela Allyn, RN, BSN, LCCE, IBCLC, RLC

Pam has been working in the field of maternal-child health for three decades. She has worked as a labor and delivery nurse in several different level II and level III hospitals. In addition, she has experience in public health, including county health department programs in both breastfeeding and infant mortality reduction initiatives.  She completed the BSC distance program in 1995 and became IBCLC certified that same year, with recertification in 2000 and 2005.  Pam continues to work as a lactation consultant in the Chicago area at a level III medical center which handles many high-risk mothers and children. She is also certified as a childbirth educator through Lamaze International and teaches both childbirth classes and family courses. Pam is a BSC instructor and assumed the Executive Director role in February of 2005. She is availaable through email and regular office hours.
